Founder
Vyoma graduated as an engineer in Textile Technology from Indore & moved to Mumbai to pursue her passion for Fashion. She met Sabyasachi Mukherjee where she was volunteering at Lakme Fashion Week & she sized the opportunity to work as an Assistant to him. She learnt the intricate art of garment manufacturing while still getting on-set experiences & a chance to work with many celebrities in the film & fashion industry. She soon started working as an independent Designer/Stylist & worked towards establishing her own clothing label. The creative in her wanted more & while she worked as a stylist, she got involved in the Television as a creative director. Due to her enthusiasm & passion to keep learning, brought her in touch with the labors, artisans & other people at the grassroots level. Thus, she started Velkin Weaves in 2019.
